Mawlid, which contains the birth and several moments of Muhammad`s (phub) has an important place in our literature. There were written mawlid`s in Arabic or Persian but the best examples of this kind were found in Turkish literature. The most known version of which, is written by Suleyman Çelebi with the name “Vesiletü’n Necât”. None of other versions has reached it`s level of quality. That element has caused the need of the translation into the other languages used in the ottoman society. The Mawlid was translated into Arabic, Albanian, Bosnian and many languages.
