Tohumlarda Virüs Enfeksiyonlarının Kontrolü

Öz

Derlenen bu bildiride, bitki yetiştirilirken alınacak önlemler (hastalıklı bitkilerin ayrılması, vektörlerin ve virüs taşıyıcı yabani otların yok edilmesi, virüslerden soyutlanmış yerlerde yetiştirme), çeşit seçimi, mukavemet ıslahı ve direkt olarak virüsle mücadele (sıcaklık ile muamele, gamma ışınlandırılması, kimyasal dezenfeksiyon ve tohum tasnifi) yardımıyla virüssüz tohum yetiştiriciliği tartışılacaktır. Tohumlarda virüs enfeksiyonu araştırma yöntemleri (iklim odaları, ovma, serolojik testler ve flüoresans analizleri) ile bunlarla ilgili sonuçlar verilecektir.

Possibilities for Control of Virus Infections in Seeds

Abstract

This compiled report will discuss measures to be taken during plant cultivation (separation of diseased plants, eradication of vectors and virus-carrying weeds, cultivation in virus-free areas), variety selection, resistance breeding, and direct virus control (heat treatment, gamma irradiation, chemical disinfection, and seed sorting). Methods for investigating virus infection in seeds (climate chambers, scrubbing, serological tests, and fluorescence analyses) and related results will be presented.
