Bakır Stresi Altındaki Genç Patlıcan Bitkilerine Hümik Asit Uygulamalarının Etkisi

Öz

Ağır metal içeren ortamların bitkiler üzerindeki olumsuz etkilerini azaltmak için hümik asit uygulamaları kullanılabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, yüksek bakır içeren koşullarda yetiştirilen, tuza ve kuraklığa tolerans düzeyleri daha önce belirlenmiş patlıcan genotiplerinin (Burdur Merkez, Burdur Bucak, Kemer ve Giresun) bazı morfolojik ve biyokimyasal özellikleri üzerine, hümik asitin etkileri incelenmiştir. Kontrollü sera koşullarında yürütülen çalışmada, patlıcan tohumları torf ve perlit karışımı ortamında çimlendirilmiş ve ekimden 20 gün sonra fideler, saksılara şaşırtılmıştır. Bitkiler 4-5 gerçek yapraklı olduklarında 3 farklı hümik asit dozu (0, 500, 1000 ppm) uygulanmış, hümik asit uygulamasından 7 gün sonra, içerisinde 200 µM Cu bulunan sulama suyu ile sulanmaya başlanmıştır. Bitkiler 40 gün boyunca sulandıktan sonra bu sürenin sonunda hasat edilmiş ve analizler için örnek alımı yapılmıştır. Çalışmada bitkiler, yeşil aksam ve kök yaş ağırlığı, yeşil aksam ve kök kuru ağırlığı, gövde ve kök boyu, yaprak alanı, klorofil ve MDA miktarı, süperoksit dismutaz (SOD), katalaz (CAT), askorbat peroksidaz (APX) ve glutatyon redüktaz (GR) enzim aktiviteleri yönünden incelenmiştir. Cu uygulaması patlıcan genotiplerinin yeşil aksam ve köklerinin yaş ve kuru ağırlıklarında, kök ve gövde boyunda, yaprak alanı ve klorofil değerlerinde azalmaya neden olmuştur. MDA miktarı ve antioksidatif enzim aktiviteleri, Cu uygulaması ile birlikte bitkilerde artış göstermiştir. Tuza tolerant olan Burdur Merkez ve Burdur Bucak genotipleri, hassas olan Giresun ve Kemer genotiplerine oranla Cu uygulamasının oluşturduğu stres etkisine çok daha iyi bir dayanım sergilemiştir. Hümik asit uygulamaları, Cu stresinin büyüme ve gelişmeyi sınırlandırıcı etkisinin azaltılması üzerinde olumlu etki yapmıştır.

The Effects of Humic Acid Applications on Eggplants Grown Under Copper Stress

Öz

Humic acid applications can be used to reduce the negative effects of the environment on plants that contain heavy metals. This study was carried out to determine the effects of humic acid on the eggplant genotypes (Burdur Merkez, Burdur Bucak, Kemer ve Giresun) treated by copper stress. Two of the eggplant genotypes are salt and drought tolerant, and the other two genotypes sensitive. The study conducted under the controlled greenhouse conditions. Eggplant seeds were germinated in the growth substrate a mixture of peat and perlite and the seedlings were transplanted into pots at 20 days after sowing. Plants when they are 4-5 true leaves, 3 different humic acid levels (0, 500, 1000 ppm) were applied and 7 days later after this application, the plants were irrigated with the 200 µM Cu solution. During 40 days, the plants were irrigated at the field capacity level with tap water, and then they were harvested, samples for analysis were performed. plants were investigated for shoot and root fresh weight, shoot and root dry weight, shoot and root length, leaf area, chlorophyll and MDA level of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), ascorbate peroxidase (APX) and glutathione reductase (GR) enzyme activities Ali genotypes are adversely affected by Cu applications. In parallel to this Cu dose led to a reduction in values of fresh and dry weight of shoot and root, stem and root length, leaf area of eggplant genotypes. MDA amounts and antioxidative enzyme activities increased in plants irrigated with the solution contains heavy metal. The compared to tolerant genotypes Burdur Merkez and Burdur Bucak, salt sensitive Giresun and Kemer genotypes showed much better tolerance to abiotic stress factor which consists of Cu applications. Humic acid applications had a positive effect on reducing of the limiting effect of Cu stress on growth and development.
