Öz

Biber, dünyada ve Türkiye’de en çok yetiştirilen sebze türlerinden biridir. Yüksek verim ve kaliteye sahip biber ıslahı, tohumculuk sektöründe önemli çalışmaların başında gelmektedir. Geleneksel ıslah döngüleri, pazar hareketliliğine hızlı yanıt verememektedir. Dihaploidizasyon yöntemlerinin ıslah programlarına entegrasyonu ile yeni çeşitlerin geliştirilmesi hız kazanmıştır. Biberde başarıyla kullanılan haploidi tekniği androgenesis temelli anter kültürü olup, kamu ve özel sektörde kullanımı son yıllarda yaygınlaşmıştır. Besin ortam içeriği ve ayrıca genotipler birlikte başarı üzerinde etkilidir. 13 adet farklı kapya biberi genotipi, in vitro koşullarda androgenik kapasite açısından test edilmiştir. Kültürlenmiş anterlerden embriyo oluşumu üzerinde güçlü genotipik etkiler gösterilmiştir. Embriyo oluşumu %1.62-28.8 oranında farklılık göstermiştir.

Öz

Pepper is one of the most widely cultivated vegetable species in the world and Turkey. The breeding of peppers with high yields and quality is one of the important efforts in the seed sector. Traditional breeding cycles cannot respond quickly to market mobility. With the integration of dihaploidization methods into the breeding programs, improvement of new varieties has gained momentum. Haploidy technique used successfully in pepper is the anther culture based on androgenesis and its use in public and private sectors has become widespread in recent years. Nutrient medium content, and also genotypes are effective together on success. 13 different Capia pepper genotypes were tested for androgenetic capacity under in vitro conditions. Strong genotypic effects on embryo formation from the cultured anthers were shown. Embryo formation was differed between 1.62 and 28.8%.
