The methodist argued that if each human being is strictly accountable for everything in his life devoted to God; it must follow that he should act as a faithful steward, God would deal accordingly with him. Therefore, a fully believed man might be expected to prosper and success in his calling. This man will be received occupational success because he has proved his ability to attain a greater stewardship of God. Personal responsibility involved more than a stewardship of money. In particular it involved a right use of properties. The methodist attitude on luxury and idleness is summarized that they will destroy the whole work of God on human soul. Success in business not only must be long and hard work but also be thriftly and economic.

Bundan dolayı, bütünüyle iman etmiG bir insan, mesleki etkinliğinde serveti ve baGarıyı ümit edebilir. Böyle bir kiGi, Tanrının daha büyük bir vekilliğine ulaGabilmesini sağlayacak yeteneğinin olduğunu ispatlamıG olduğu için, mesleki baGarılara ulaGabilecektir.
