Teknoloji her geçen gün yeni gelişmelerle tüm dünyaya yayılıyor.

Technology has spread throughout the world, with daily innovations. These developments can be seen in many areas such as the economy, society, and culture. Education can be regarded as one of the main areas in which technology has a huge role, since technology and digital tools are utilized in educational activities to improve learning. When using those tools, a new problem arises: whether these tools are used properly in educational practices. Thus, this study aims to measure the digital literacy levels of the students at a state university to understand whether they use digital tools properly in their learning. With this objective, an online questionnaire concerning digital literacy was issued to the participants studying at the Department of English Language and Literature, and a total of 85 filled out the questionnaire. The data gathered through the online questionnaire was analyzed with SPSS. According to the results, the students have an above- average level of digital literacy, and the subscales of digital literacy—technical, attitudinal, cognitive, and social-emotional—are positively correlated. Additionally, the study offers implications for education and suggestions for future research.
