Misconceptions, Graphs and Teaching Mathematics in Science Education

Öz

The aim of this study is to detect if teachers of chemistry are aware of some misconceptions about chemical equilibrium and speed, and their awareness of those misconceptions on the graphs used. The data have been obtained by face to face interviews in this study for which descriptive research method has been used. In respect of the findings it has been concluded that teachers don't have problems with awareness of misconceptions and drawing graphs about the related subjects but they are incompetent at explaining the misconceptions on the graph
