Çalışma Hayatında Tokenizme İlişkin Bibliyometrik Analiz Değerlendirmesi

Öz

Bu araştırmada, çalışma hayatında tokenizm konulu çalışmaların evrimini ve haritasını çıkarmak amacıyla kilit kavramlar olarak tokenizm ve çalışma hayatı belirlenmiştir. Bu bağlamda bibliyometrik analizden faydalanarak literatürün sistemli özetinin sunulması, konuyla ilgili araştırmaların ve geleceğe yönelik yapılması önerilen çalışmaların tespiti amaçlanmıştır. 1988-2023 yılları arasında yayımlanmış Web of Science veri tabanında taranan farklı türdeki eserlerin bibliyometrik verisi analiz birimidir. Dahil etme ve hariç tutma kıstasları sonrasında konuya ilişkin 119 çalışma olduğu ve en fazla eserin 2019 (19) yılında olduğu; en üretken isimlerin Isis Settles, Jean Wallace ve Robin J. Ely olduğu; yayın türünün ağırlıklı olarak 112 dergi makalesi olduğu; araştırma alanları açısından çalışmaların çoğunluğunun sosyoloji (27) ve yönetim (26) alanlarında olduğu; yayınların ülkelere göre dağılımında liderliğin Amerika Birleşik Devletleri (71 yayın) olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca konuya ilişkin en sık kullanılan anahtar kelimeler tokenizm (27), cinsiyet (19), çeşitlilik (12) ve ırk (7) kelimeleridir. Bu konuda yazarların en fazlaca atıf yaptığı yazar olarak Yoder ve Kanter dikkat çekmektedir.

A Bibliometric Analysis on Tokenism in Working Life

Öz

In this study, tokenism and working life were determined as key concepts in order to reveal the evolution and mapping of studies on tokenism in working life. In this context, it is aimed to present a systematic summary of the literature by using bibliometric analysis and to identify studies and to suggest for future studies on the subject. The unit of analysis is the bibliometric data of different types of works scanned in the Web of Science database and published between 1988 and 2023. After the inclusion and exclusion criteria, there were 119 studies on the subject and the most works were in 2019 (19); the most productive names are Isis Settles, Jean Wallace and Robin J. Ely; the publication type is mainly 112 journal articles; in terms of research areas, the majority of studies are in the fields of sociology (27) and management (26); it was observed that the leadership in the distribution of publications by country was the USA (71publications). Additionally, the most frequently used keywords on the subject are tokenism (27), gender (19), diversity (12) and race (7). Yoder and Kanter are the most cited authors on this subject.
