This study aims to investigate the effect of organizational entropy on organizational cynicism. The study sample comprises 300 employees working in businesses operating in the textile and apparel sector in Malatya. Using a relational model, the research analyzes the relationship between organizational entropy and organizational cynicism. The data collected from the study were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 18.0 package programs. Structural equation modeling was employed to test the research hypotheses. In this study, the scale developed by Brandes, Dharwadker, and Dean (1999) was used to determine employees' perceptions of cynicism. The scale developed by Çavuş (2021) was used to measure employees' perceptions of organizational entropy. According to the findings of the research, relational and processual entropy had substantial and significant positive effects on cognitive, emotional, and behavioral cynicism. This result reveals that organizational entropy is an important antecedent of organizational cynicism. Based on the study's findings, various suggestions have been presented for practitioners and researchers.
