Annaguli Nurmemmet, the novelist of Türkmenistan, tells the struggle of historical existence of Oghuz tribe in his first novel Oghuz Yurdu (Oghuz Homeland).
Oghuz Yurdu is a novel based on the values of collective unconscious. The novel tells both the outher world in horizontal dimension and a journey to explore the inner world of the human beings.

Türkmenistanlı yazar Annaguli Nurmemmet'in ilk romanı olan Oğuz Yurdu (1999), Oğuz soyunun tarihsel varoluş mücadelesini anlatır. Tarihsel dokusu, toplumsal bilinçdışının arketip değerleri üzerine kurulan Oğuz Yurdu, genel itibariyle simgesel anlamda yürünen bir yol romanıdır. Eser, yatay boyutta dış dünyaya, dikey boyutta ise, insanın kendi içine yaptığı yolculuğu konu edinir. Toplumsal bilinç dışı (collective unconscious)na ait yaşatıcı değerleri arketip olarak temsil eden Oğuz Han, şimdi de, Selçuk Bey aracılığı ile görünür hâle gelir. Oğuz soyuna ait toplumsal bilinçdışı, kavramsal düzeyde 'ad alma', 'sefer kılma', 'dünyaya düzen verme' ile, simgesel düzeyde ise "ağan', ' altın yay' ve 'gümüş oklar' gibi nesnel değerlerle ortaya çıkar. Romanın baş kişisi Selçuk Bey, toplumsal bilinçdışının mitik simgeleriyle şimdiki zaman bilincinin buluşmasını sağlar. Yazar Annaguli Nurmemmet, bu romanla farklı zaman ve mekanlardaki Oğuz soyunu, aydınlık bir kimlik bilinci etrafında birleştirmek ister.
