Sensory Evaluation and Starch Content Investigation of Pollen Collected by Apis mellifera L. caucasica

Yıl 2021, Cilt: 1 Sayı: 1, 9 - 16, 31.12.2021

Öz

Ardahan ilinin Çıldır, Damal, Göle, Hanak, Merkez ve Posof olmak üzere altı ayrı ilçesinden
polen örnekleri toplanmıştır. Toplanan polen örneklerinin botanik orijinleri tespit edildikten
sonra duyusal analizleri yapılmış ve nişasta içerikleri belirlenmiştir. Duyusal analizler
neticesinde koku bakımından en beğenilen taksonlar beğeni sırasına göre; Asteraceae,
Campanula spp., Carduus spp., Centaurea spp., Epilobium spp., Liliaceae, Melilotus officinalis,
Trifolium repens ve Trifolium spp. olmuştur. Tat bakımından en yüksek puanı alan taksonlar
ise Liliaceae ve Trifolium spp.’dir. Renk analizleri sonucunda polen örneklerinin %24’ünün
turuncu ve tonlarında, %20’sinin kahverengi ve tonlarında, %16’sının sarı ve tonlarında,
%16’ının da yeşil ve tonlarında kalanların ise mor, bordo, bej ve siyah renklerde olduğu tespit
edilmiştir. Nişasta analizleri sonucunda polen örneklerinin %72’sinin nişasta içermediği;
Cistaceae, Epilobium spp., Poaceae, Pyrus spp. ve Rosaceae taksonlarının ise nişasta içerdiği
saptanmıştır.
