Öz
Esbâb-ı Nüzûl ilmini çeşitli boyutlarıyla inceleyen ve araştırmamızın ana temasını oluşturan Kur’ân ve Bağlam isimli eser, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Nedim SERİNSU tarafından kaleme alınmıştır. Kur’an’ın Anlaşılmasında Esbâb-ı Nüzûl’ün Rolü isimli Kur’ân ve Bağlam’ın ilk kitabı, araştırmanın konusu, önemi, amacı ve yönteminin açıklandığı giriş bölümünü takıben üç ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Sa’lebe Kıssası-Esbâb-ı Nüzul’e Yeni Bir Yaklaşım isimli Kur’ân ve Bağlam’ın ikinci kitabı ise modern şartlar gereğince Esbâb-ı Nüzûl ilmine dair yeni bir yaklaşım ihtiyacının ve araştırmanın zorunlu olduğunu teorik ve pratik çerçeveden açıklamaktadır. Tarihsellik ve Esbâb-ı Nüzûl isimli Kur’ân ve Bağlam’ın üçüncü kitabı, tarihsellik kavramı ve problemini incelemektedir. Tüm yoğun içeriğine ve kaynakçasına rağmen, birbirinin devamı olan üç büyük kitap hacmini taşıyan bu çalışmanın analiz metodu, başarılı bir seviyede kavramsal bir sınır çizme, teorik ve pratik çerçeveleri net bir şekilde belirleme, konuya dair yeni bir standart geliştirme ve güncel bir teklif sunma bakımlarından çağdaşlarından ayrılmaktadır. Eserin güncellenmiş versiyonunun daha öz ve tekrarlardan arınmış hali, güncel başka pratik örneklerle hazırlanmış yeni bir baskı teklifi, bu kapsamlı eserin başarısının artmasını sağlayacak mütevazi bir önerimizdir.

The work titled Kur’ân ve Bağlam (The Qur’ān and Context), which constitutes the main theme of our research and examines the science of Asbāb an-nuzūl with its various dimensions is written by Professor Doctor Ahmet Nedim SERINSU. Kur’ân’ın Anlaşılmasında Esbâb-ı Nüzûl’ün Rolü (The Role of Asbāb an-nuzūl in Understanding the Qur’ān), which is the first book of Kur’ân ve Bağlam (The Qur’ān and Context) consists of three main chapters following the introduction in which the subject, importance, purpose and method of the research are explained. Sa’lebe Kıssası-Esbâb-ı Nüzul’e Yeni Bir Yaklaşım (The Parable of Saʿlaba-A New Approach to Asbāb an-nuzūl), which is the second book of Kur’ân ve Bağlam (The Qur’ān and Context) explains the necessity of a new approach and research on the science of Asbāb an-nuzūl in accordance with the modern conditions from a theoretical and practical perspective. Tarihsellik ve Esbâb-ı Nüzûl (Historicity and Asbāb an-nuzūl), which is the third book of Kur’ân ve Bağlam (The Qur’ān and Context) examines the concept and problem of historicity. Although the work, which has the volume of three large sequential books, has all concentrated content and bibliography, it stands out from its contemporaries in its analytical methodology, successfully drawing a conceptual boundary, clearly defining the theoretical and practical frameworks, developing a new standard for the subject matter, and providing an up-to-date proposal. Our humble suggestion is that the situation of an updated version of the work as more concise and free of repetition, and an offer of new edition with other up-to-date practical examples, would further enhance the success of this comprehensive work.
