Biological parameters of <em>Graphosoma lineatum</em> L. (Heteroptera, Pentatomidae) feeding on seeds of plants from Apiaceae family and suitable food selection

Graphosoma lineatum L. (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae) whichis the suitable host of Sunn pest egg parasitoids Trissolcus (Hymenoptera, Scelionidae) must be reared in laboratory for the parasitoid production. In this research, fecundity, adult lifespans as male and female, preoviposition, oviposition, postoviposition and total generation times, and total nymph development duration of G. lineatum feeding on different plant seeds [Astrodaucus orientalis (L.), Conium maculatum (L.), Daucus carota (L.), Heracleum platytaenium (Boiss.), Pimpinella anisum L. and Torilis arvensis (Huds.)] from Apiaceae were determined. So, the suitable food was tried to determine. Studies were carried out in laboratory under 25±1 °C temperature, 45±5 % RH and 16 hours photoperiod conditions. As the result of study, P. anisum seed was seen most available food, seeds of Astrodaucus orientalis (L.), Daucus carota (L.)and Torilis arvensis (Huds.) were not suitable foods for G. lineatum.
