Nohutta sorun olan Rhizoctonia tür ve anastomosis gruplarına karşı bazı nohut çeşitlerinin reaksiyonlarının belirlenmesi

Öz

Bu çalışma nohutta kök ve kök boğazı çürüklüğüne neden olan Rhizoctonia solani AG-4, AG-5, binükleat Rhizoctonia spp. ve R. bataticola (Sin: Macrophomina phaseolina) etmenlerine karşı bazı nohut çeşitlerinin reaksiyonlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla in vitro ve in vivo (petri ve saksı) denemeleri şeklinde yürütülmüştür. R. solani AG-4 ve AG-5 izolatlarına karşı test edilen tüm nohut çeşitleri her iki çalışmada da hassas reaksiyon göstermiş olup, bu etmenlerin test edilen tüm bitkilerde çıkış öncesi çökertene neden olduğu belirlenmiştir. Binükleat Rhizoctonia sp. izolatına karşı Gökçe çeşidinin her iki çalışmada da dayanıklı reaksiyon gösterdiği gözlenmiştir. R. bataticola izolatına karşı ise in vitro da tüm çeşitler hassas reaksiyon gösterirken, in vivo da Aksu çeşidi dayanıklı olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bilgilerimize göre bu çalışma, ülkemizde Rhizoctonia spp. izolatlarına karşı nohut çeşitlerinin reaksiyonlarının belirlendiği ilk çalışma niteliğindedir.

Determination of the reactions of some chickpea cultivars against Rhizoctonia species and anastomosis groups threatening chickpea

Öz

This study was conducted to determine the reactions of some chickpea cultivars against Rhizoctonia solani AG-4, AG-5, binucleate Rhizoctonia sp., and R. bataticola (Syn: Macrophomina phaseolina) causing root and crown rot on chickpea under in vitro and in vivo conditions. All chickpea cultivars tested against R. solani AG-4 and AG-5 isolates showed a susceptible reaction in both studies, and these agents were determined to cause pre-emergence damping-off in all plants tested. Cultivar Gökce was resistant to binucleate Rhizoctonia sp. isolate in both experiments. While all the cultivars showed a susceptible reaction to R. bataticola isolate, cultivar Aksu was evaluated as resistant in the trial. According to our knowledge, this is the first study on the determination of the reactions of chickpea cultivars against Rhizoctonia spp. in Turkey.
