Öz

The beneficial effects of the implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) on the primary and secondary prevention and on the long term mortality are well documented. Skin necrosis is a very rare complication of ICD implantation, which is a very frequent procedure in our routine practice.

Öz

Primer ve sekonder profilaksi açısından implante edilebilir kardiyoverter defibrilatör (ICD)’ ün birçok çalışmada uzun dönemde mortalite açısından faydalı olduğu gösterilmiştir. Rutin pratiğimizde sıkça uygulanan ICD implantasyonu sonrası görülen cilt nekrozu nadir bir komplikasyondur.
