Öz

Milyonlarca insanın açlık çektiği veya açlık riskiyle karşı karşıya olduğu günümüz dünyasında, iklim değişikliği küresel tarımı ve gıda üretimini etkileyen önemli bir sorun olarak kabul edilmektedir. Gıda erişiminin giderek zorlaşması, gıda güvencesizliği, iklim değişikliği gibi etkenler gelecekte küresel insani krizlerin ortaya çıkması olasılığını artırmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, güncel literatür ışığında iklim değişikliğinin gıda güvencesi üzerindeki etkileri ve sonuçları ile ilgili genel bir değerlendirme yapılması amaçlanmıştır.

Öz

In today’s world, where millions of people are suffering from hunger or are at risk of starvation, climate change is recognized as a major problem affecting global agriculture and food production. The increasing difficulty of accessing food, food insecurity and climate change are factors that heighten the likelihood of global humanitarian crises in the future. This study aims to provide a general assesment of the impacts and consequences of climate change on food security in the light of current literature.
