COVID-19 Tanılı Hastaya NANDA-I ve Joyce Travelbee’nin İnsan İnsana İlişki Modeline Göre Verilen Hemşirelik Bakımı: Bir Olgu Sunumu

COVID-19 ilk 2019 yılının Aralık ayında Çin’in Vuhan Eyaleti’nde görülmüş ve kısa sürede solunum yolu rahatsızlıklarıyla karakterize olan, bulaş riski yüksek küresel bir pandemi haline gelmiş kompleks, viral bir hastalık olarak tanımlanmıştır. SAR-CoV-2 virüsünün etken olduğu bu hastalığın, hafif solunum yolu belirtilerinden (ateş, öksürük, solunum güçlüğü) daha şiddetli enfeksiyonlara ve sorunlara (zatüre, solunum yetmezliği, böbrek ve karaciğer yetmezliği, kardiyovasküler problemler ve ölüm) neden olduğu bildirilmektedir. Bu çalışmada 40 yaşındaki kadın hasta, boğaz ağrısı, öksürük, halsizlik, şikayeti ile hastaneye başvurmuştur. PCR testi negatif ancak Covid temaslı olması ve toraks bilgisayarlı tomografi (BT) bulgularının pozitif olması sebebiyle COVID-19 şüphesiyle hastaneye yatırılarak tedavi altına alınmıştır. COVID-19 hastalığı tekrarlı bulaş özelliği, uzun süreli sosyal izolasyonları ve henüz tam olarak spesifik olmayan tedavisi gibi hastaları tahammülsüzlüğe iten bir süreç olduğundan olgu, umut aşılayan Joyce Travelbee’nin insan-insana ilişki modeline göre değerlendirilerek hemşirelik bakımı verilmiştir. Bu çalışma; olgunun, hastalık nedeniyle içinde bulunduğu psikososyal durumu değerlendirerek, yaşadığı acı ve ağrı deneyiminden anlam bulmasını sağladığını, hemşireye olan güveninin, hastalığın bulaş ve korunma yöntemleri konularındaki endişeleriyle başetmesini kolaylaştırdığını ve tedavisine katılımıyla iyileşme umudunu güçlendirdiğini göstermiştir.

First diagnosed in the Wuhan Province of China in December 2019 and COVID-19 has been accepted as a global pandemic in a short time, 2020 as a complex, viral disease with a high risk of transmission, characterized by respiratory tract disorders. Caused by the SAR-CoV-2 virus this clinical has a wide array of symptoms ranging from mild such as fever, cough, respiratory distress to more severe infections and problems such as pneumonia, respiratory failure, kidney and liver failure, cardiovascular problems and death. A 40 year-old female patient was admitted to the pandemic ward after a negative PCR swab test for COVID-19 but with positive thorax CT findings. She complained of a sore throat, cough and fatigue. She was treated for these symptoms after being admitted. Since COVID-19 infection has the ability to be retransmitted, requires prolonged isolation and has no yet definitive treatment, the patients are driven into intolerance thus this patient received her nursing care in accordance to the human-human relationship model of Joyce Travelbee, which instills hope. This work was able to prove that by allowing the patient to make sense of the psychosocial situation of the illness and of the pain and pain experience, along with an increased trust in the care giver nurse facilitated her coping with the concerns about transmission and prevention methods. This ultimately strengthened her hope of recovery with mutual participation in the treatment.
