Öz

ÖZET Kas iskelet sistemi benign ve malign lezyonları ile uğraşan alt uzmanlık dalı ortopedik onkolojidir. Bu grup hastaların tedavisi zor ve multidisipliner yaklaşım gerektirmektedir. Ortopedik onkoloji ameliyatlarının öğrenme eğrisi ve eğitimi zordur. Bu eğitiminin daha iyi anlaşılması bu alanda kariyer planlamak isteyen asistanlara ve genç uzmanlara yardımcı olacaktır. Gözlemcilik (observership) deneyim paylaşımını içeren yayınlar başka dallarda literatürde vardır. Ancak bu çalışmamız ortopedik onkoloji alanında ilktir. Bu bağlamda çalışmamızda, yazarın ortopedik onkoloji gözlemcilik deneyiminin literatür eşliğinde sunulması amaçlandı. Anahtar kelimeler: Ortopedi; onkoloji, eğitim; gözlemcilik ABSTRACT Objective: The subspecialty that deals with benign and malignant lesions of the musculoskeletal system is orthopedic oncology. This group of patients is difficult to treat and requires a multidisciplinary approach. The learning curve and training of orthopedic oncology surgeries is difficult. A better understanding of this training will help young professionals who want to plan a career in this field. Publications involving observership experience sharing are available in other branches in the literature. However, this study is the first in the field of orthopedic oncology. In this context, our study aimed to present the author's experience of orthopedic oncology observership with the literature. Keywords: Orthopedics; oncology; education, observership
