Objective: Purpose of this work is to evaluate vitamine D level in blood of individuals referred to the Amasya University, Sabuncuoğlu Serefeddin Research Hospital. Material and Methods:Patients who had referred to the policlinics of Amasya Univ. Sabuncuoglu Serefeddin Hospital in the period of January 2013-to-January 2014, were selected as subject of this study. Hospital data base of total 209 people, comprised of 49 male and 160 female patients, are studied for variations in vitamine D levels. Liver enzymes and kreatins were found normal. Proper statistics applied to the results for better interpretation. Results: No statistical meaningful correlation or covariation are found in median vitamin-D level of different age groups. Median vitamine D levels of men when compared with median Vitamin-D level of women came up with lower values. Patients referred with diabetes mellitus (DM) showed lower vitamin-D levels, with respect to VD-levels of patients referred general examination and osteoporosis. Any difference between median vitamin-D levels of male and female patients are not observed. Vitamin-D levels of males and females of ages between 0-18 years and those above 65 years, showed similar statistical characteristics. On the other hand, in regarding with patients of ages between 19-40 years and 41-64 years, median VD levels of women was lower than median VD levels of men. Based on the referring purposes, there has been no statistically meaningful difference found in mVD levels, amoung all age groups. Conclusion:As the conclusion, in regarding with the optimum level of Vitamin-D, it is found that Vitamin D optimum level is low in all patients involved in this research from the region of Amasya and neighbouring area, It is suggested to carry out further researches on higher number of patients, will provide successful results in better understanding the subject
