This study set out to ascertain the aflatoxin levels in cattle feed and milk feed that were procured from feed production facilities situated in the Diyarbakır region—a region that accounts for a significant portion of the cattle production in the Southeastern Anatolia Region. The region's feeds were evaluated based on the limits of Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) (≥0.005 ppm) in cattle milk feed and Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) (≥0.02 ppm) in cattle feed. Contamination in terms of total aflatoxin levels in the feeds was also considered, in accordance with the Regulation on Unwanted Substances in Feeds (Regulation No: 2014/11). According to the determined mycotoxin contamination levels, the aflatoxin levels in cattle milk feed averaged 0.0036 ppm and 0.0034 ppm in cattle feed. This study describes how to store feeds and raw materials under what circumstances.
