Best Proximity Pair Results in Strictly Convex B-fuzzy Metric Spaces

This paper is motivated by the aim of analyzing the existence of best proximity pair in the context of b-fuzzy metric spaces. To this end, noncyclic contractions are first defined by means of a continuous function , and a best proximity theorem is established. Subsequently, the notion of a b-fuzzy proximal normal structure is introduced, and a broader class of mappings including nonexpansive ones is examined. Accordingly, by means of this geometric property, the existence of best proximity pair for such mappings is examined within the framework of b-fuzzy metric spaces.
