In order to find a solution to COVID-19 disease, which is a priority to the whole world, Sars CoV-2 virus is tried to be investigated in every aspect. Sars CoV-2 virus, which is the cause of covid-19 disease, tries to investigate in all points. No drugs and vaccines have been found yet. It is therefore important to prevent further spread of this highly infectious virus. The contamination occurs from person to person and from contaminated surfaces. For this reason, it is an important issue to know how long the virus can survive in different environments. Because; necessary hygiene, disinfection and sterilization measures are evaluated by taking this information into consideration. These aspects of the virus are addressed in this review article and current information on this subject is tried to be presented to the reader.
