The stories of Ferec Ba’s-Şidde are the stories that the easiness after hardship, and the joy that comes after grief. The heroes in the stories first encounter troubles and painful events, and then they run into disasters. The heroes of the story overcome the difficulties that they encounter and find comfort and peace. A moral lesson is given at the end of the majority of these stories. It is seen that most of the stories in Ferec Ba’de’s Şidde Stories have great similarities with the anonymous Turkish folk talks in terms of motif and episode. In this study, the “Hikâyet (-i) bîst <ü> şeşüm ez-ân Bâg (-i) İrem ve Bedi’ülcemâl ve Şehzâde Seyfülmülük” numbered 26, which is included in the Stories of Ferec Ba’de’s Şidde, has been examined. The motifs in the story were determined and compared with other anonymous folk tales. The comparisons are explained with the motifs in Turkish Mythology and Turkish folk culture. In the study, Mythological Animals, Telling the Past, Predestined Hero, Oaths and Vows, Traditions, Falling in Love, Naming Children, Formal Number: 40, Distortion pf Magic and Magical Objects, Magic, Realist Dream, going to the Foreign Lands and Return, and Sultan motifs were determined and explained in detail.
