PALÉOMAGNÉTISME DU PERMIEN D'AMASRA (ANATOLIE DU NORD)

Öz

Une série de 18 échantillons orientés, prélevés du Permien des environs d'Amasra (Mer Noire), a révèle, par suite de désaimantation progressive, une aimantation rémanente caractéristique avec déclinaison de 292° et inclinaison de —14,8°. Des calculs partant de mesures sur roches permiennes provenant du bouclier européen donnent une déclinaison de 210° et une inclinaison de —15,8° pour la même région (valeurs moyennes). Les études paléomagnétiques faites jusqu'à présent dans l'ensemble du Permien de l'Europe font ressortir un contraste frappant entre l'uniformité de l'orientation magnétique des roches du bouclier stable d'une part, et la variabilité de celle des roches de la chaîne alpine de l'autre. Dans le cas présent, la différence pourrait s'expliquer comme résultat de déplacements le long d'une faille horizontale de décrochement à l'échelle globale, ou bien de mouvements géotectoniques de plus grande envergure (dérive continentale). D'éventuelles études supplémentaires permettront de choisir entre ces deux hypothèses.

AMASRA (KUZEY ANADOLU) PERMİENİNİN PALEOMAGNETİZMASI

Öz

Amasra (Karadeniz) civarı Permieninden toplanmış, yönü belli 18 numune, yavaş yavaş mıknatıslığını kaybetme yoluyla, 292° lik sapma açılı (declinaison) ve —14.8° lik eğilimli (inclinaison) karakteristik bir artık mıknatıslanma ortaya koymuştur. Avrupa kalkanının Permien kayaçları üzerinden alınmış ölçülerden, aynı saha için 210° lik sapma açısı ve —15.8° lik eğilim (ortalama olarak) değerleri elde edilmiştir. Avrupa Permieninin bütünü üzerinde bugüne kadar yapılan Paleomanyetik etüdler, bir taraftan stabl kalkan kayaçlarının manyetik yönünün ayniyeti (uniformite) ve diğer taraftan Alp kayaçlarınınkinin değişkenliği arasında bâriz bir kontrast göstermektedir. Bu halde, aradaki fark, yatay bir dekroşman fayı boyunca kayma veya daha büyük bir Jeoteknik hareket (kıta kayması) ile izah edilebilir. Yapılmakta olan daha geniş etüdler, bu iki hipotezden birinin seçimini sağlıyacaktır.
