MINERALOGY OF THE MADENBELENITEPE (SOĞUKPINAR-BURSA) TIN MINERALIZATION

Öz

Tin mineralization occurs in the greisenized granite porphyry in Madenbelenitepe area. Stannite
is the major tin mineral. Cassiterite is found in trace amounts. Associated minerals are arsenopyrite, pyrite, sphalarite,
fahlerz (tennantite-tetrahedrite), galena, chalcopyrite, bournonite, boulangerite, rutile and pyrrhotite. Gangue minerals
are represented by quartz, muscovite, sericite and minor amounts of apatite.
To the East of Madenbelenitepe mineralization, scheelite, wolframite and molibdenite occurs in granite, greisenized
granite and granite porphyry. Pyrite, arsenopyrite, cosalite, scheelite, wolframite (partly altered to scheelite), molibdenite,
specularite, sphalarite, tennantite, chalcopyrite and tourmaline occurs in hydrothermal quartz veins intersecting
granites and metamorphic schists.
Madenbelenitepe tin mineralization shows many features similar to those observed in the upper zones of other
tin mineralizations found throughout the world, and the mineralization described here, is seemingly a «hydrothermal
quartz greissem type formed at high temperatures.

MADENBELENİTEPE (SOĞUKPINAR-BURSA) KALAY CEVHERLEŞMESİNİN MİNERALOJİSİ

Öz

Madenbetenitepe kalay cevherleşmesi grayzenleşmiş granitporfir içinde bulunmaktadır. Kalay mineralleri olarak fazla stannit, yanında eser miktarda kassiterit izlenmiştir. Diğer maden mineralleri olarak arsenepirit, pirit, sfalerit, fahlerz (tennantit-tetraedrit), gelenit, kalkopirit, bournonit, bulanjerit, rutil ve pirotin bulunmaktadır. Kuvars, muskovit, serisit ve tali mineral olarak apatit gözlenen başlıca gang mineralleridir. Madenbelenitepe cevherleşmesinin doğu kesiminde granit, grayzenleşen granit ve granitporfir içinde şelit, volframit, molibdenit ile bu kayaç ve metamorfik şistleri kesen hidrotermal kuvars damarlarında pirit, arsenopirit, kosalit, şelit, volframit (kısmen şelite dönüşmüş), molibdenit, spekülarit, sfalerit, tennantit, kalkopirit ve turmalin izlenmektedir. Madenbelenitepe kalay cevherleşmesi, içinde bulunduğu ortam yönünden yerkürede bilinen kalay yataklarının üst zonlarına benzerlik göstermekte ve yüksek ısılarda oluşmuş «hidrotermal kuvars grayzen» tipinde bir yatak görünümü vermektedir.
