In this study, the trace fossils in the Lower-Middle Miocene turbiditic Cingöz formation cropping out around the Karaisalı - Catalan - Eğner regions have been examined for the first time. The trace fossils occur in a sequence, identified as submarine fan deposits. Based on their morphological characteristics, nineteen trace fossils have been identified; eleven of them are ichnospecies and eighteen ichnogenus.
