Öz
The aim of this study is to examine the mental thoughness levels of curling athletes in terms of different variables. This research is a quantitative study in survey model. A total of 91 active curling athletes, 38 women and 53 men, were included in the study. Personal information forms, ‘Sports Mental Toughness inventory (Pehlivan and Dinç, 2017) were used in order to collect the data. After the research, it was observed that the mental thougness levels of male athletes were higher than women in the SMD commitment sub-dimension; and also the mental thougness levels of the national athletes were higher than the non-national athletes in confidence sub-dimension. As a result, it can be said that the mean score of the curling athletes regarding the skill levels of maintaining belief abilities and not allowing their opponents to intimidate them is relatively high, but the mean score of the skill levels of stay on target and not losing control is low.
