All papers in Chaos Theory and Applications (CHTA) are published under Open Access. To provide readers with free access and to cover the costs of peer review, copyediting, typesetting, promotion, technical support, and journal management, to manage the various minimum costs associated with handling and editing the submitted manuscripts, an article processing charge (APC) of USD $550 (which is not refundable) is applied to any paper submitted after February 21st, 2024.

Once an article is accepted, the corresponding author will be notified that payment is due, and need to arrange the payment promptly. Instructions for fee transfer will be provided by the journal team with the notification of acceptance for the accepted papers.

50% discount is applied for authors who have served as reviewers in Chaos Theory and Applications journal in the last year.
