Blok Zinciri ve Kripto Para Birimi Kabulünün İncelenmesi: Bibliyometrik Bir Yaklaşım

Öz

Araştırmanın amacı, blok zinciri ve kripto para biriminin benimsenmesi konusundaki son eğilimleri keşfetmektir. Kripto para birimleri bireysel yatırımcıların dikkatini çekmektedir. Kurumsal yatırımcılar, düzenlemelerle ilgili netlik eksikliği nedeniyle kripto para birimlerine yatırım yapmaktan geri dursalar da son yasalar onları yatırım portföylerine kripto para birimi eklemeye teşvik etti. Öte yandan, kripto para biriminin altında yatan teknoloji olan blok zincirinin de hem şirketler hem de araştırmacılar tarafından ilgi gördüğünü belirtmek gerekir. Bu noktada, bu çalışmanın amacı, gelecekteki araştırmalara yardımcı olmak için blok zinciri ve kripto para biriminin benimsenmesine ilişkin yayınların analizi yoluyla en son eğilimleri ortaya çıkarmaktır. Bunu gerçekleştirmek için çalışma, Web of Science'tan gerekli veri setini elde ettikten sonra hem VOSviewer hem de Bibliometrix programlarını kullanarak bibliyometrik bir yaklaşım benimsemiştir. Sonuçlar, son trendlerin yanı sıra büyüme oranı, yoğunluk ve konuyla ilgili farklı çalışmalar arasındaki ilişkiler gibi hem nitel hem de nicel istatistikleri sergilemektedir.

Exploring Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Adoption: A Bibliometric Approach

Öz

The purpose of the research is to explore the latest trends in blockchain and cryptocurrency adoption. Cryptocurrency has been drawing the attention of individual investors. Although institutional investors had been hesitant to invest in cryptocurrencies due to lack of clarity regarding regulations, recent legislation encouraged them to add cryptocurrency to their investment portfolios. However, blockchain the underlying technology of cryptocurrency, has also drawn the attention of both companies and researchers. The aim of this study is to identify the latest trends through an analysis of publications on blockchain and cryptocurrency adoption. To achieve that, the study adopts a bibliometric approach by using both VOSviewer and Bibliometrix programs after obtaining the required dataset from Web of Science (WOS). The results exhibit the latest trends as well as both qualitative and quantitative statistics, such as the growth rate, density and relations among different studies on the subject.
