Türkiye’de Rüzgâr Sörfünde Meydana Gelen Yaralanmaların Tespiti

Öz

Amaç, Rüzgâr sörfü son yıllarda popülaritesi artan bir spor dalı olarak göze çarpmaktadır ve giderek sporcu sayısı artmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, ekstrem bir spor dalı olan Rüzgâr Sörfü’de meydana gelen yaralanmaların profillerin belirlenmesidir. Metot: Bu retrospektif kohort çalışması için veriler 2023 sezonu boyunca çevrimiçi standartlaşmış bir anket aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Anket antropometri, beceri düzeyi, yaralanma teşhisi, mekanizması çevresel koşullar ve antrenman rejimleri hakkında sorular içeriyordu. Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan 116 sporcu 461 yaralanma bildirmiştir. Ortalama olarak her sporcu sezon boyunca 3,97 yaralanma geçirmiştir. Sporcuların en çok yaralanan bölge %28,8 ile ayak bileği-parmak bölgesi, bu bölgeyi %15,5 ile diz bölgesi takip etmektedir. Tüm yaralanmaların %51,1’i alt ekstremite meydana gelirken %48,9’si üst ekstremitede meydana gelmiştir. Katılımcılar 7.6/1000 saat yaralanma insidansı tespit edilmiştir. Yaralanma dağılım oranlarında en çok %32,2 ile yumuşak doku yaralanmasıdır. Yaralanma kaynağı en fazla %63,8’i deniz tabanı, mercan, dalga, bireysel sürüş hataları, yorgunluğa bağlı, vb. kaynaklı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç: Bu çalışmada genel yaralanmalar alt ekstremitede meydana gelirken yüksek oranda ise deniz yüzeyinden kaynaklandığı tespit edilmiştir.

Identification of Injuries Occurring in Windsurfing in Turkey

Öz

Windsurfing is a sport that has increased in popularity in recent years and the number of athletes is gradually increasing. The aim of this study was to determine the detection of injuries occurring in windsurfing, an extreme sport. Data for this retrospective cohort study were collected through an online standardised questionnaire during the 2023 season. The questionnaire included questions about anthropometry, skill level, injury diagnosis, mechanism, environmental conditions and training regimes. The 116 athletes included in the study reported 461 injuries. On average, each athlete had 3.97 injuries during the season. The most commonly injured region was the ankle-finger region with 28.8%, followed by the knee region with 15.5%. While 51.1% of all injuries occurred in the lower extremity, 48.9% occurred in the upper extremity. Injury incidence rate was 7.6/1000 hours. The most common injury distribution rate was soft tissue injury with 32.2%. The most common source of injury was found to be seabed, coral, wave, individual driving errors, fatigue, etc. with 63.8%. In this study, it was determined that the general injuries occurred in the lower extremities and the high rate was caused by the sea surface.
