This study aims to examine the effects of work–life balance dimensions on job stress and thriving at work (vitality and learning) among medical representatives. The research employed a descriptive and cross-sectional design, and survey data were collected from 451 medical representatives using convenience sampling. The data collection instrument consisted of the General Work Stress Scale, the Work–Life Balance Scale, and the Thriving at Work Scale. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The findings indicate that work–life balance dimensions have significant effects on job stress. In particular, the negative impact of work on life emerged as the strongest predictor of job stress. Increased job stress significantly reduces employees’ vitality and learning levels. In addition, the negative impact of life on work negatively affects both vitality and learning, whereas positive interactions between work and life enhance employees’ vitality and learning experiences. The results suggest that organizational practices supporting work–life balance may reduce stress and strengthen employees’ development and learning processes.
