Süpervizyonda Süreç Notları Tekniği: Süpervizyon Sürecinde Kullanılan Eklektik Psikolojik Danışma Yaklaşımlı Süpervizyon Formlarına İlişkin Psikolojik Danışman Görüşlerinin İncelenmesi

Öz

Araştırmanın amacı, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilmiş olan “Eklektik Psikolojik Danışma Yaklaşımına Dayalı, Danışma Sürecinin Basamaklarına Uygun ve Psikoeğitim İçerikli Süpervizyon Formları”na (Süreç Notları Tekniği) ilişkin psikolojik danışman adaylarının/danışmanların görüşlerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmada, psikolojik danışma yardımını almış olan danışanların görüşleri de incelenmiştir. Araştırmaya, araştırmacının (Süpervizör 1) “bireysel psikolojik danışma uygulaması dersi” süpervizyonu altındaki 17 kişi katılmıştır. Araştırmacı dışında Psikolojik Danışma ve Rehberlik alanında doktora eğitimli iki ayrı süpervizörün aracılığı ile 10 psikolojik danışman adayının Süpervizyon Formları ile ilgili görüşleri de incelenmiştir. Ayrıca araştırmada, psikolojik danışma sürecine başlayıp, süreci tamamlamış olan 5 danışan çalışma grubuna dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmada, toplamda 32 katılımcı bulunmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, Süpervizyon Formlarını Değerlendirme Formu”, “Psikolojik Danışman Adayının/Danışmanın, Danışan Tarafından Değerlendirilmesi Formu” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, nitel analiz olarak, betimsel analiz yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, katılımcıların Süpervizyon Formlarının “ayrıntılı ve açıklayıcı”, “faydalı”,“ farkındalığı arttırıcı”, “öğretici ve geliştirici”, “kılavuz, yol gösterici, yol haritası, ışık”, “kontrollü gidişi sağlayıcı ve denetleyici” , “işlevsel, kolay ve pratik”, kıymetli, güven verici, stres azaltıcı” ve “sınırlı” olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Ayrıca, araştırmanın sonucunda, danışma sürecine tam olarak devam edip, danışma sürecini tamamlamış olan 5 danışanın, danışma sürecinde “kendilerini rahat ve güvende hissettiklerini”, “danışmanının saygılı ve objektif yaklaştığını”, “danışma sürecinden yararlandıklarını”, “sorunlarına çözüm yollarını bulmayla ilgili farkındalık kazandıklarını/çözdüklerini” de belirtmişlerdir. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar, ilgili literatür ışığında tartışılmıştır.

Process Notes Technique in Supervision: An Investigation of Counselors’ Perspectives on Supervision Forms with Eclectic Counseling Approach Used in the Supervision Process

Öz

The aim of the study was to examine the views of psychological counselor candidates/counselors on the "Supervision Forms (Process Notes Technique) with Psychoeducational Content Based on the Eclectic Counseling Approach and Accommodating the Steps of Counseling Process" developed by the researcher. The study also examined the views of the clients who had received psychological counseling support. 17 individuals under the supervision of the researcher (Supervisor 1) in the "individual counseling practice course" participated in the study. In addition to the researcher, the opinions of 10 counselor candidates about the Supervision Forms were also examined through the mediation of two different supervisors with doctoral degrees in Counseling and Guidance. Furthermore, five clients who started and completed the counseling process were included in the study group. Thus, the study consisted of a total of 32 participants. "Form for Evaluating the Supervision Forms" and "Form for the Evaluation of Counselor Candidate/Counselor by the Client" were used as the data collection instruments. For data analysis, descriptive analysis was performed as a form of qualitative analysis. As a result of the study, the participants stated that the Supervision Forms were "detailed and explanatory", "useful", "awareness-raising", "instructive and developmental", a "guide, route map, light", "control provider and supervisory", "functional, easy and practical", “valuable, reassuring, stress-relieving" and "limited". As another result of the study, 5 clients who fully attended and completed the counseling process stated that they "felt comfortable and safe", "the counselor was respectful and objective", "they benefited from the counseling process", "they gained awareness about finding solutions to their problems and solved them" during the counseling process. The results obtained from the research are discussed in the light of the relevant literature.
