Öz

There
is a great deal of news from the Prophet concerning especially the future of
the Islamic umma in Islamic sources. Their common features are that they inform
about ghayb, “unseen”. Because of these narrations mostly reported from
the Prophet, this has brought about various opinions among Muslims who have
interpreted them throughout centuries. This situation is also present today. It
is important to know that these narrations are evaluated in terms of the
measurement of Qur'an and Prophetic tradition, and also the measurement of
these two sources is important. This work, which is tried to be evaluated,
deals with the nature of the news / reports about the Unseen (ghayb) and how
important the Qur’ānic approach to their understanding.

İslam kaynaklarında Hz. Peygamber’den özellikle İslam
ümmetinin geleceğine dair nakledilen çok sayıda haber vardır. Bunların ortak
nitelikleri gaybdan haber vermeleridir. Bu rivayetlerin çoğunlukla Hz.
Peygamber’e isnad edilmesi, asırlar boyunca bunları yorumlayan Müslümanlar
arasında görüş ayrılıkları meydana getirmiştir. Bu durum günümüzde de kendini
göstermektedir. Bu rivayetlerin Kur’an ve sünnet açısından değerlendirilmesi ve
bu iki kaynağın ortaya koyduğu ölçünün bilinmesi önemli bir husustur. Değerlendirilmeye
çalışılan bu eser, gayb ile ilgili haberlerin niteliği ve bunların anlaşılmasında
Kur’an merkezli bir yaklaşımın önemini ele almaktadır.
