Virtual reality (VR) technology has garnered significant attention in the field of psychiatry in recent years. The limitations of current treatment methods in psychiatry and the potential offered by virtual reality technology have sparked a search for new and effective treatment approaches in this field. Through VR, individuals can access therapy more easily, comfortably, and with a heightened sense of safety. This review article examines the relationship between psychiatry and virtual reality, potential in treatments, addressing the limitations and possible future applications of VR in the treatment of psychiatric disorders.
