Aile Bireylerine Değinen Yahudi İspanyolcasi ve Türkçe Deyim ve Atasözlerinin Karşilaştirmasi: Göçün Kültüre Etkisi

Öz

Bu çalışmada Türkiye’de yaşayan Sefaradlar’ın ana dili olan Yahudi İspanyolcası ile Türkçe
deyim ve atasözlerinde tasvir edilen Sefarad ve Türk aile yaşam tarzları arasındaki benzerlik ve
farklılıkların bulunması amaçlanmaktadır. Bu deyim ve atasözleri dilbilimsel antropolojinin bir
dalı olan bilişsel dilbilim alanına giren Kavramsal Eğretileme Kuramı’na göre
karşılaştırılacaktır. Dolayısıyla, bu deyim ve atasözlerinin içindeki metaforik (mecazi) kelime
kullanımlarına ve dilbilimsel yapılara antropolojik ve halkbilimsel kullanım sebepleri
açıklanarak değinilecektir. Ayrıca Yahudi İspanyolcası ve Türkçe deyim ve atasözlerinde
bahsedilen geleneklere de değinilecektir. Anne, baba, çocuk ve kardeşlere ilişkin deyim ve
atasözleri seçilmiştir.
Bilişsel Eğretileme Kuramı Lakoff ve Johnson tarafından 1980 yılında geliştirilmiştir. Göçün
Musevi Sefaradlar’da kültürel değişime etkileri yüzyıllardır kullandıkları deyim ve atasözleri
aracılığıyla incelenecektir.

A Comparison of the Judeo-Spanish And Turkish Idioms and Proverbs Mentioning Family Members: The Effect of Immigration on Culture

Öz

In this study, it is aimed to discover the similarities and the differences between the Sephardic
and Turkish family lives depicted in Judeo-Spanish, the mother tongue of Sephardim who live
in Turkey, and Turkish idioms and proverbs. It is aimed to compare the idioms and proverbs in
both languages within the framework of Conceptual Metaphor Theory that enters the field of
cognitive linguistics that is a subfield of linguistic anthropology. Therefore, the metaphorical
word uses and the linguistic structures of the idioms and proverbs will be mentioned by
explaining the anthropological and folkloric reasons for which they are employed. Besides, the
traditions of families depicted in Judeo-Spanish and Turkish idioms and proverbs will also be
mentioned. The idioms and proverbs where the qualities of mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, brothers, and sisters are described are included in
the study.
Lakoff and Johnson developed the conceptual
metaphor theory in 1980. The effects of
immigration on the cultural transformation of the
Sephardic Jews will be investigated through the
idioms and proverbs that they have been using for
centuries
