In this study determining the role of abusive supervision on using impression management tactics is aimed The research is conducted with currently working employess in the private sector firms via survey method In the study abusive supervision scale which is developed by Tepper 2000 and impression management scale developed by Bolino and Turnley 1999 are used Exploratory factor analysis confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modelling are used Results revealed that abusive supervision is positively correlated with self promotion ingratiation intimidation exemplification and supplication Key Words: Abusive supervision impression managemetn structural equation modelling

Bu çalışmada izlenim yönetimi taktiklerinin kullanımında istismarcı yönetimin rolünün belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır Araştırma Adana ilindeki özel sektör işletmelerinde çalışma yaşamını faal olarak sürdüren çalışanlar ile anket yöntemiyle yapılmıştır Çalışmada Tepper 2000 tarafından geliştirilen istismarcı yönetim abusive supervision ölçeği ile Bolino ve Turnley’nin 1999 izlenim yönetimi ölçeği kullanılmıştır Verilerin analizinde açımlayıcı faktör analizi doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ve yapısal eşitlik modellemesi kullanılmıştır Araştırma sonucunda istismarcı yönetim ile kişisel reklam yağcılık gözdağı verme örnek olma ve kendini acındırma boyutları arasında pozitif yönlü ilişkiler ortaya çıkmıştır
