Values are essential criteria that guide the behaviors and preferences of individuals in social life. Values were sometimes tried to be acquired directly and
indirectly in curricula. In this research, it is aimed to determine the values for
the purposes of the Life Science lesson curricula 1936, 1948, 1968, 1998, 2005,
2009, 2015 and 2018. In the study, document analysis technique was used
as data collection tool. With this aim, the data obtained in the research were
analyzed by coding with content analysis. Primary School Program 1936, 1948,
1968, 1998, 2005, 2009, 2015 and 2018 Life Science lessons generally include
fundamental values (love, respect, sensitivity, responsibility, honesty/righteousness). The values were not determined because the purposes of the Life Science
course in 2005 and 2009 Primary Education Programs were not found. 2015 and 2018 Primary School Program it is seen that for the purposes of the Life
Science course, the values of national, moral and human values, family values,
and social values are more common than previous programs.
