Farklı Ağız Gargaralarının Geçici Kuron Materyallerinin Renk Stabilitesi Üzerindeki Etkisi: in vitro Çalışma

Öz

Giriş: Ağız gargaraları, oral hijyenin sağlanmasında yaygın olarak kullanılmakta olup geçici kuron materyallerinin renk stabilitesini etkileyebilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, farklı ağız gargaralarının geçici kuron materyallerinin renk stabilitesi üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Polimetil metakrilat, bis-akrilik rezin ve fotopolimer rezin materyallerden hazırlanan örnekler Andorex, Listerine ve distile su içerisinde bekletildi. Renk değişimleri spektrofotometre ile ölçülerek ΔE00 değerleri hesaplandı. Veriler istatistiksel olarak analiz edildi (p<0,05). Bulgular: Materyal ve gargara türünün renk değişimi üzerinde anlamlı etkisi bulundu. En yüksek renk değişimi Andorex içerisinde bekletilen fotopolimer rezin grubunda gözlendi. Zaman faktörünün etkisi anlamlı bulunmadı. Sonuçlar: Ağız gargaraları geçici kuron materyallerinin renk stabilitesini etkilemektedir. Fotopolimer rezin materyaller daha fazla renk değişimi gösterirken, Andorex gargara en fazla renklenmeye neden olmuştur.

The Effect of Different Mouthwashes on the Color Stability of Temporary Crown Materials: An In Vitro Study

Öz

Introduction: Mouthwashes are widely used for maintaining oral hygiene and may affect the color stability of provisional crown materials. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of different mouthwashes on the color stability of provisional crown materials. Materials and Methods: Specimens prepared from polymethyl methacrylate, bis-acrylic resin, and photopolymer resin materials were immersed in Andorex, Listerine, and distilled water. Color changes were measured using a spectrophotometer, and ΔE00 values were calculated. Data were statistically analyzed (p<0.05). Results: Material type and mouthwash type had a significant effect on color change. The highest color change was observed in the photopolymer resin group immersed in Andorex. The effect of time was not statistically significant. Conclusions: Mouthwashes affect the color stability of provisional crown materials. Photopolymer resin materials showed greater color change, while Andorex mouthwash caused the highest discoloration.
