One of the leading charismatic relatives of classical Arabic wit art, Abu Ishaq Müzebbid al-Medīnī is an important person whose creations in the field of humor draw attention both in terms of quantity and quality. The narrated texts attributed to it in classical sources, on the one hand, enlighten us about the main themes of the ancient humor culture, on the other hand, testify to the social, political, religious, family, moral and cultural characteristics of the period in which our witness lived. Through the analysis of Müzebbid’s wits, the intimacy of classical Arab humor with social and religious life is also revealed. It is also underlined that humor generally has a universal language. This article explores the characteristics and key themes of our humor hero, especially in the humor style, whose outline of the personality portrait was previously clarified through a scientific review.
