Abstract

The more importance to graduate studies in educational field has been giyen day by day. Carrying out many educational studies in educational institutions in Turkey has created an opportunity for increasing research number and quality of these researches in educational field. The Master of Science Education program in many countries is designed for primary school teachers and researchers, teaching in kindergarten through eighth grades. The aim is to enhance teachers and researchers'understanding of science principles as well as their ability to teach science concepts to their students. The purpose of this study is to examine master programs which is related to science education in abroad and to present some suggestions through revising our own master of science education programs.
