Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the ideas of some graduate students and the lecturers serving at Dokuz Eylül University, Institute of Educational Sciences, about education and teaching process being applied to all the programmes and determine the problems related to this process. "Graduate Education and Teaching Evalution Form" was applied to the university students and lectureres as data collection tool. The data collected was analyzed by using SPSS 8.0. At the and, it was founded out that both lecturers and graduate students have some problems regarding gradute education. These problems can be classified into two groups the quantity and the quality of graduate student, lecturers, programs and lectures and the availibility of educational material that the Institute has. In this paper, the results and suggestions for the solutions of the problems were presented.
