EĞİTİM BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜNDE LİSANSÜSTÜ EĞİTİMİN ÖĞRENCİ ve ÖĞRETİM ÜYESİ AÇISINDAN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

The aim of this study is to determine the ideas of some graduate students and the lecturers serving at Dokuz Eylül University, Institute of Educational Sciences, about education and teaching process being applied to all the programmes and determine the problems related to this process. "Graduate Education and Teaching Evalution Form" was applied to the university students and lectureres as data collection tool. The data collected was analyzed by using SPSS 8.0. At the and, it was founded out that both lecturers and graduate students have some problems regarding gradute education. These problems can be classified into two groups the quantity and the quality of graduate student, lecturers, programs and lectures and the availibility of educational material that the Institute has. In this paper, the results and suggestions for the solutions of the problems were presented.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüsüne bağlı Anabilim Dallarında sürdürülmekte olan lisansüstü eğitim programlarında öğrenim gören öğrencilerimizin ve görev alan öğretim elemanlarımızın eğitim-öğretim sürecine yönelik görüşlerini belirlemek ve bu süreçteki eksiklikleri ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmanın veriler' öğrenci ve öğretim elemanlarına yönelik olarak geliştirilen "Lisansüstü Eğitim ve Öğretim Değerlendirme Formu" ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 8.00 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Velilerin değerlendirilme¬si sonucunda hem öğretim elemanlarının hem de öğrencilerin lisansüstü eğitime yönelik bir takım sorunlarının olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu sorunlar öğrencilerin, öğretim elemanlarının, lisansüstü programların, derslerin nitelik ve niceliklerine ve Enstitü bünyesindeki araç gereç olanaklarına yönelik olmak üzere gruplandırılabilir. Bu bildiride ulaşılan sonuçlar ve süreçte yaşanılan eksikliklerin giderilmesine yönelik çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur.
