Abstract
This study aims to discern the achievement levels of students at Curriculum Laboratory Schools at the primary school level, and whether their achievement varies significantly in comparison with that in other schools and in terms of the socio-economic status of the environment. The research has yielded no significant differences between the students of curriculum laboratory schools and those of other schools in terms their scores in the High School Entrance Exam (LGS in Turkish) and in the Secondary Education Institutions Exam (OKS in Turkish). However, significant differences have been found between the achivement of the students of both curriculum laboratory schools and of other schools in the High School Entrance Exam and in the Secondary Education Institutions Exam in favor of the those in middle and high income environments.
