Abstract
It has been suggested that according to the data acquaired through the questionnaire administired to the students at Ankara,Balıkesir, İzmir, Konya Anatolian High School of Fine Arts, instrument- piano teachers' use of their instruments actively in their classes and participating concert activities affect student motivation.
In this study, Anatolian High School of Fine Arts's general description, instrument education, motivation, role modelling in adolesence period, the teacher's role in instrument education and suggestions regarding the research results are discussed
