ÜNİVERSİTE ÖĞRENCİLERİNDE BAĞLANMA BİÇİMLERİ, STRESLE BAŞA ÇIKMA VE BAZI PSİKOLOJİK BELİRTİLER ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİLER

Öz

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı üniversite öğrencilerinin bağlanma biçimleri ile stresle başa çıkma tarzları ve bazı psikolojik belirtiler arasındaki ilişkilerin incelenmesidir. Araştırmada katılımcıların bağlanma biçimlerini belirlemek amacıyla Yakın İlişkilerde Yaşantılar Envanteri, stresle başa çıkma tarzlarını belirlemek amacıyla Başa Çıkma Yolları Envanteri ve bazı psikolojik belirtilerini belirlemek amacıyla Kısa Semptom Envanteri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi, 205 kız öğrenci ve 206 erkek öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Elde edilen verilerin analizi için, Pearson korelasyon katsayısı ve çok değişkenli regresyon analizi yöntemleri uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, kaygılı bağlanmanın, çaresiz yaklaşımı, kendine güvenli yaklaşımı ve boyun eğici yaklaşımı anlamlı düzeyde yordadığı görülmektedir. Ayrıca kaygılı bağlanmanın psikolojik belirtileri anlamlı düzeyde yordadığı görülmektedir. Elde edilen sonuçlar ilgili alanyazın ışığında tartışılmıştır.

Öz

The main purpose of this research is to examine the connections between university students' attachment styles and the ways in which they cope with stress and some psychological symptoms. To determine the attachment styles of the participants in the study, Close Inventory of the Near Relations is used to identify the ways of coping with stress, and Short Symptom Inventory to identify some psychological symptoms. The sample of the study consist of 205 female students and 206 male students. For the analysis of the obtained data, Pearson correlation coefficient and multivariate regression analysis methods were applied. According to the results obtained, anxious attachment seems to predict the helpless approach, the self-confident approach and the submissive approach at a significant level. It also appears that anxious attachment predicts psychological statements at a meaningful level. The results obtained are discussed in the light of relevant literature
