Ikhtilāf al-hadīth of Imām Shāfi‘ī (d. 204/820) is also included in order to reveal how the related issue is handled in the literature of ikhtilāf al-hadīth in order to determine the issues that cause conflict in the narrations about the woman’s travel without a mahram.
