Bu araştırma, ekonomik büyüme ve biyokütle enerjisi konularında üretilen akademik literatürü bibliyometrik yöntemlerle inceleyerek alanın mevcut durumunu ve gelişim eğilimlerini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma, 27.08.2025 tarihinde “Web of Science” veri tabanında “economic growth” ve “biomass energy” anahtar kelimeleri “and” operatörü ile birlikte taratılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir.

This study aims to examine the academic literature produced on economic growth and biomass energy through bibliometric methods in order to reveal the current state of the field and its developmental trends. The research was conducted on 27 August 2025 by searching the “Web of Science” database using the keywords “economic growth” and “biomass energy” with the “and” operator. The search was performed with the “all fields” option selected and limited to articles, article proceedings papers, and review studies published in English between 2011 and 2024. As a result of the applied filters, a total of 246 publications were identified. The obtained data were processed using the R Bibliometrix package, specifically developed for bibliometric analyses, and the results were evaluated with the support of tables and visualizations. Within the scope of the analysis, keyword clouds, the most productive journals, the most cited authors, and international collaboration networks were examined in detail. In addition, the most frequently used keywords were analyzed to identify the prominent themes in the literature and the conceptual axes on which research has been concentrated. The findings of the study indicate that the literature on the relationship between economic growth and biomass energy has an interdisciplinary structure and has attracted increasing academic interest in recent years. The results not only help to identify the gaps in the existing literature but also provide a guiding framework for researchers planning to conduct new studies in this field.
