This study was conducted to examine the role of social media in terms of career planning in the finance sector. The study is tested with a relational structure that is addressed from the perspective of the theory of planned behavior and the technology acceptance model. Individuals' perception of ease of use towards social media affects perceived benefit. Individuals' job pursuit attitude through social media is affected by perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. In addition, individuals' attitudes and behavioral control perceptions affect job pursuit intentions. The study's consideration of the impact of social media channels on career planning can be evaluated as a contribution to the literature.
