Industrial revolution, along with the impact of radical changes in the economic and political structures, changed agricultural society into an industrial society in the 18th century. Nowadays, the key concept in the transformation of industrial society into a information society is the information and communication technologies(ICTs). ICTs from the basic dynamic power together with the facilities it provides to the production, process, transmitting, and utilization of information. In this study, ICTs and economic growth relationship is dealt empirically both for Turkey and developed countries. From the production and usage of ICTs, their impacts on the productivity and its contribution to growth are also tested in Turkey from the studies done in G-7 countries and Finland
