Öz

Orta Çağ’dan 20. yüzyıla kadar Avrupa’da ve İslam coğrafyasında yazı mürekkebi olarak sıklıkla kullanılmış olan demir içerikli mürekkepler, içeriğinde bulunan asidik bileşikler ve demir iyonları nedeniyle zamanla bozunmaya uğramaktadır. Bozunma süreci, mürekkep renginin solması, mekanik dayanım ve malzeme kaybı gibi ciddi olumsuz sonuçlara yol açmaktadır. Ayrıca çevresel koşullar, biyolojik etkenler ve insan faktörü gibi etkenler de mürekkep korozyonunun etkilerini güçlendirmektedir. Bu çalışma demir içerikli mürekkeple yazılmış yazma eserlerde meydana gelen bozunma süreçleri ile iç ve dış etkenlerin bozunmaya etkisini inceleyerek, eserlerin bozunma derecelendirmesinin yapılmasının ve geleceğe aktarımının önemi üzerinde durmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında metin alanı mürekkep korozyonu nedeniyle okunamaz hale gelmiş yazma eserlerde, okunabilirliği sağlamak amacıyla kullanılabilecek dijital görüntüleme yöntemleri literatürde var olan uygulamalar üzerinden irdelenmektedir. Bu yöntemler geleneksel görüntüleme teknikleri, modern görüntüleme teknikleri ve gelişmiş görüntüleme teknikleri olarak sınıflandırılmış olup bu tekniklerin avantajları ve zorlukları kıyaslanmıştır.
