BANKACILIK İŞLEMLERİNDE DİJİTAL PARA BİRİMLERİNE YÖNELİK ALGILANAN GÜVENİN İNCELENMESİ: AMPİRİK BİR ÇALIŞMA

Öz

Bu çalışmada bankacılık işlemlerinde dijital para birimlerine yönelik algılanan güvenin bireylerin tutumları ve kullanım niyetleri üzerindeki etkisi incelenmektedir. Dijital para birimleri, finansal teknolojilerdeki gelişmelere paralel olarak giderek daha fazla yaygınlaşsa da, kullanıcıların bu yeni finansal araçlara olan güveni, benimsenme sürecinde belirleyici bir faktör olmaktadır. Çalışmada, algılanan güven, algılanan risk, finansal tutum ve kullanım niyeti arasındaki ilişkiler yapısal eşitlik modellemesi (SEM) kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, algılanan güvenin dijital para birimlerine yönelik olumlu tutum ve kullanım niyeti üzerinde doğrudan ve dolaylı etkileri bulunmaktadır. Bunun aksine, algılanan riskin, kullanım niyetini doğrudan etkilemediği ve bireylerin dijital paralara yönelik tutumunu olumsuz yönde etkilediği görülmüştür. Çalışma sonuçları, bankacılık sektöründe dijital para birimlerinin yaygınlaşabilmesi için güven artırıcı önlemlerin önemli olduğunu göstermektedir. Kanuni düzenlemelerle ilgili eksiklikler ve güvenlik kaygıları, kullanıcıların dijital para birimlerini benimsemesini zorlaştıran etkenler olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu konuda yapılacak düzenlemelerin ve siber güvenlik regülasyonlarının bu engellerin aşılmasına olumlu katkı sağlayabileceği anlaşılmaktadır.

EXAMINING THE PERCEIVED TRUST OF DIGITAL CURRENCIES IN BANKING TRANSACTIONS: AN EMPIRICAL STUDY

Öz

This study investigates the impact of perceived trust in digital currencies on individuals' attitudes and intention to use them in banking transactions. Although digital currencies are becoming increasingly widespread in parallel with advancements in financial technologies, users' trust in these new financial instruments is an important factor in the adoption process. The study analyzes the relationships between perceived trust, perceived risk, financial attitude, and intention to use digital currencies using SEM (structural equation modeling) method. The findings indicate that perceived trust has both direct and indirect effects on positive attitudes and the intention to use digital currencies. On the other hand, perceived risk does not directly affect usage intention and negatively affects individuals' attitudes toward digital currencies. The study results highlight the importance of trust-enhancing measures for the widespread adoption of digital currencies in the banking sector. Legal uncertainties and security concerns are identified as significant barriers to the adoption of digital currencies. It can be said that regulatory measures and cybersecurity regulations can contribute positively to overcoming these barriers.
